Madonna Responds to the M.I.A Incident  By now everyone’s heard about M.I.A flipping the bird during the Superbowl performance, Well now Madge is voicing her thoughts: “I was really surprised. I didn’t know anything about it. I wasn’t happy about it. I understand it’s punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity, it seemed negative. It’s such a teenager … irrelevant thing to do … there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place.” I kinda feel her on that. She clearly was going for a one love vibe (as evidenced by her huge “World Peace” message flashing at the end). My whole thing is, if it’s your set do whatever you want, but if you were invited there by someone who has a vision, you should respect it.
