Chaka Khan Discusses Whitney’s Death With Piers Morgan

 Chaka Khan appeared  on the Piers Morgan Show and of course, the talk came to Whitney’s passing. 

I was a bit surprised to hear that Clive Davis didn’t cancel his traditional pre-Grammy party. Given the closeness of his and Whitney’s relationship, I expected him to forgo the party or at the very least not attend as a show of mourning. Especially with her body still in the same building.

Chaka also expressed disappointment in the fact that Whitney was allowed to come out to L.A. an entire week prior to performing because it’s a dangerous situation for a recovering addict. That is a very valid point. Who were her handlers? When dealing with someone who was an addict for that long and only recently recovered, you really need to take as many precautions as possible.
