Alicia Gets Her DJ On

Alicia Keys was recently on the one’s and two’s at Yotel here in NYC. 

Couple of things here:

  • DJ AK-47? Lmaoooo I know that was meant to be hilarious… I better had been.
  • Alicia knows how to put songs together, and press da button dat makes da songs change… But other than that… 

Awww, it was a cute couple moment though.

What do you guys think about Alicia’s DJ debut? And who wants Busta Rhymes to calm the hell down in the background?! Hehehe…

    I see you @MarioSoulTruth releasing new music with @MyFabolousLife called The Walls.

    I’m going to give you 2 reasons why this song is going to get burn. 
    1. It has Mr. Hot 16 Fab on it and 2. Mario’s first singles always get burn. 


    Since the joint has a nice vibe to it, I can see it being in heavy rotation. I guess we should all get ready for a new Mario album too. I’m really hoping and praying this kid releases one classic in his time….. That probably won’t happen though.

    New music from @TPAIN featuring the lovely Lily Allen (If you didn’t know, I’m pro talent from across the pond. They just sing better over there…) and the @RealWizKhalifa called 5’ O’Clock.

    Man let me tell you, this joint right here goes. The cast is very interesting, to say the least, but they got the job done in a major way. I mean really— T-pain, Lilly, and Skeletor on the same track??!!! Did you see this coming? Cause I didn’t. So enjoy this good ass music please.

    The song is hot, minus the person the track is for. The irony in that right? Ms. Barbie strikes again though, outdoing her mentor and that dude with the star on his head with the opening and best verse.

    @VerseSimmonds is back on my good side with this Boo Thang ft. @KellyRowland. If you aren’t familiar Floridian artist, perhaps you’ll remember this song from 2009….

    Hm. It’s like Shaggy and The Dream had a baby who made annoyingly repetitive choruses. Sorry to remind you.

    Still, Simmonds has certainly made a hit with Boo Thang. It’s like Bobby Valentino’s Motivation dripping with 90’s retro baby-making-soul. 

    Love it.

    This Week in Fashion: Blondes, Colors, And Big Ass Shoes

    Let’s get into what the super stars served us this week..

    It’s Nicki the ninja, the boss, the Harajuku Barbie, it’s my favorite tacky woman of all time! She’s giving you national geographics, she’s giving you bubble-gum, she’s giving you funky! Nicki hosted “Super Bass”  at Luxy Nightclub early this week looking like a hot plate of confusion…and you love it!

    The other girl from Diddy Dirty Money celebrated her bday this week rockin’ a cute little black dress, an outrageous animal, and one very long (but fab) earring.  She also debuted her new hairdo. Blonde hair she don’t care. And neither do you….so let’s carry on.

    Solange Knowles attended the Anna Dello Russo & Macy’s Collab party looking quite colorful. Solange almost never disappoints in the fashion game. The color-blocking was perfect, the shoes worked perfect, and the random purple bag and accessories just completed everything. Little Juelz looked cute too. But chile, them feet…

    Our favorite tabloid headliner, Lindsay Lohan attended Adele’s LA concert looking glamorous. The blonde bombshell wore a long black skirt, nude cropped top, beaded earrings, and a leopard print bag. No matter how messy her life is, LiLo cleans up nice for appearances. Kudos girl!
