Tyra Graduates Harvard Former model and aspiring semi-mogul Tyra Banks graduated from Harvard Business School yesterday! Although the Tyra Banks Show made me dislike her due to everything thing being all about her and “when she was a model”, I’m very proud of Tyra for sticking to the Harvard program that she started in 2010. I hope her story inspires people to do better for themselves because they want to be better… not for the gratuitous pats on the back that Tyra may be looking for with these twit pics taken by her mom.

Tyra Gets, Um, Artsy In New Short Film

 Tyra Banks is the star of a (very) short film by photographer Marcus Gaab. It was shot for the latest issue of “I LOVE YOU” magazine. She is supposedly channeling “crazy chic”. 

“I just told her to perform, do her thing and to stop when she felt like,” says Gaab. “But she didn’t stop, she kept on voguing. There was no rehearsal; she invented the whole thing while we were there.”

@THEYBF asked their readers do they love @TyraBanks look for the Metropolitain Opera’s season opening last night for Anna Bolena and I have to say: No. No, I do not.

It’s not about the gorge ruffled Roberto Cavalli dress she has on… It’s not even about the too black and too yellow-gold accessories that some what clash with the soft pink of the dress, I can forgive that.

It’s about the wet and wavy, is that a jerry-curl with a bang?, you-could-have-done-better-than-that-super-model-tyra wig she has on at the opera. Stop it, stop it, stop it.

I’m sure that thing is made of the finest in young Indian girl hair, and sewed together with thread made from tears and scabs of child laborers in Africa, but that is NO EXCUSE to wear it to the Met with amazing makeup and a Cavalli dress.

I’m so disappointed. Harvard is making Tyra lose her way (although preparing her to take over the business world. Kudos to that….). Next thing we know, we’ll see her walking around in 7 jeans and Crocs.

I like the short hair, but can we please for the love of all things holy ban the use of dance tights unless there is some form of dancing about to take place??!
